Turning the Pages in conjunction with Upper Hunter Waterkeepers Alliance is pleased to announce the inaugural

Page Turner

A short story writing competition, open to all who live in the Hunter Valley Catchment
(see map).

Topic: WATER

  • Fiction and non-fiction to be judged together.
  • Word length: Under 21 years old – up to 1000 words; Over 21 – up to 2000 words
  • Closing date 30 June 2010
  • Judges: Patrice Newell and Phillip Adams.
  • Prizes: $750  for under 21’s; $1500 for over 21’s
  • Winning stories will be published on ABC Newcastle web-site
    and in a future short-story anthology.
  • Application Fee - $10 Australian Dollars
